Each year we deliver around 7500 free counselling sessions, without the need for a Medicare card, GP referral or mental health plan. We’re here to ensure young people can access mental health support when they need it, for as long as they need it.
You can support KYDS in a number of ways and make a big difference to vulnerable youth in our community.
KYDS relies on financial support from the community to ensure we meet the increasing demand for our vital service. Your generous donation will allow us to keep providing free counselling to local youth who need support, for as long as they need our help. Every contribution, no matter the size, has a direct impact on the lives of the young people we serve. Donations over $2 are tax deductible.
Your monthly donation will ensure young people can access mental health support all year round. For less than the cost of a coffee a day, you could save the life of someone struggling.
KYDS Collective members enjoy:
Unite your staff and colleagues with KYDS Workplace Giving and help ensure the young people of today can reach their full potential tomorrow.
A workplace giving program is an easy way to make a regular, pre-tax donation to KYDS from your pay, reducing your taxable income. Your organisation might use workplace giving platforms like Good2Give, JustGiving and GoodCompany, or you can simply contact your payroll department to get started. It’s easy – just let them know how much you would like to donate to KYDS and your employer will provide your donation to us each payday.
Why not amplify your impact and encourage your organisation to support KYDS through corporate donations? They could even set up an ongoing program to match donations made by staff – this might be dollar for dollar, double matching or matching to a capped amount!
Want to go above and beyond making a donation to KYDS?
Why not help us by rallying your network and hosting a fundraising event or running your own fundraising campaign? Become a champion for KYDS. Whether it’s a cake stall, morning tea, a charity fun run or challenge, golf day, raffle or online crowdfunding campaign, your initiative can help raise funds and awareness for our vital work.
